"SF foursome The Please have the right idea: adenoidal vocals, throbbing bass and hooky songs dripping with effection for the Romantics, the Strokes and other buoyant pop boys." SFGate.com The Please formed in 2001 when Richard Good, who recently moved from England to the US, and Noah Georgeson fulfilled a year-old agreement to write and play music together. The line up was completed when Genaro Vergoglini and Luckey Remington joined them. After a mere three months of writing and rehearsing the Please brought their laid back yet energetic post-punk sound and style with a classic pop sensibility to the stage. Though the Please is currently unsigned, their four-song demo/EP and few performances have created interest among major labels. "Check these kids out before you gotta shell out a wad of cash and brave huge venues to see them play."
